Before going any further, if you didn't read my blogger description let me tell you here that i'm a full time graphic designer, programmer and will try my best to be a part time blogger to share my experience with you.

So the first question i need to expand is 'How i made my visual effect video?'

As i mentioned my skills above, you need to be a 3d graphic designer to make your own 3d backgrounds and use those for your foreground keyed out green screen.

What is 'keyed out green screen' above means?

Yeah this is the good question if you're a beginner, so keyed out green screen means that if you want to make a visual effect clip then your foreground clip's background should be a green screen clip - you can change that green screen background into a transparent one using some advanced softwares available on the internet and only the content on that green screen video seems visible.

what softwares to use for editing?

So what softwares i use or you can use for compositing and editing video clips_
  • Adobe After Effects
After Effects is one of the best software for compositing green screen video. At first when you look at the interface, it'll look like a block of features but you didn't get the focus on what to do at first, don't worry - go and take some professional tutorials on youtube - i got one or two just to get an idea of how to import, or the good way to import, settings and using templates using. So did you understand the meaning of compositing i used above - that you can't use this software to override any effect it was designed to actually compose the video not to override effects layers onto the video. You must wondering where to edit those clips then.
  • Adobe Premiere Pro
Here comes the Editing Software which helps to give the videos a final touch, yes this software is also from Adobe that offers the way to import After Effects files into Premiere Pro. Watch some high content tutorials and edit like a rock.

These two softwares described above are fully customizable and give you the best way to start your video editing with your own animation, effects or anything you think you can.
